The Mergers & Acquisitions practice area, led by partner Benjamín Alcaíno, handles corporate matters primarily related to M&A transactions for both domestic and foreign clients, including public and private companies, shareholders, and/or investors. We advise them on all aspects of a transaction, including its structuring, due diligence processes, and the drafting and negotiation of all necessary contracts and documents required for closing the deal.

The reputation we have earned in this field has allowed us to participate in some of the most significant mergers and acquisitions carried out in Chile.

We have represented clients in all types of M&A transactions, such as takeovers through public tender offers, merger agreements, acquisitions of minority stakes, asset or business acquisitions, shareholders’ agreements, joint venture agreements, and corporate restructurings, in addition to the ongoing corporate advice we provide to our clients. In all these operations, we are supported by our firm’s various practice areas to evaluate and mitigate all risks associated with such transactions.
